I'm a Teacher of English, experienced across the Senior School age range and ability spectrum.
Most recently, I've worked within the independent schools sector, providing a creative, knowledge-rich curriculum that facilitates a deep understanding and passion for the subject.
Approach
An outstanding education begins with understanding the unique context of each learner. Building positive relationships and fostering a culture where students feel both challenged and supported is central to my work.
While I'm proud of the academic outcomes achieved throughout my career - some of which I've highlighted below - the greatest satisfaction has come from knowing that these successes have been built on a genuinely holistic approach to education.
I firmly believe that academic excellence flourishes when pupils feel known, valued and supported. I embrace this concept in my tutoring as I do in the classroom, creating an environment that nurtures curiosity, confidence and a lifelong love of learning.
